Nick de Bois speaks at Midlands Engine APPG Visitor Economy Subgroup
Lord Taylor chaired a second meeting of the Midlands Engine APPG Visitor Economy Subgroup, addressed by Chair of Visit England, Nick de Bois.
On Thursday 13th May, Lord Taylor of Holbeach convened a second meeting of the Midlands Engine APPG Visitor Economy Subgroup.
The meeting took place virtually and was addressed by Nick de Bois, Chair of Visit England.
The minutes of the meeting are attached.
The group spoke about the importance of the visitor economy to the region, and the impact of the pandemic on the sector, as well as the opportunities presented by the Commonwealth Games in 2022 and Coventry, City of Culture in 2021.
